A:  The ADP-HKCP-140 adapter will ONLY work on the HK USP Compact that has a rail system.

Q:  What lasers will fit on the ADP-HKCP-140?

A:  Laserlyte’s LRS-0650-SSW or FSL-0650-140 will fit onto the ADP-HKCP-140.

Q:  Why do I need this adapter for my HK USP Compact?

A:  The HK USP Compact rail system does not allow a laser to be mounted because the grooves do not extend all the way to the end of the barrel.  Because of that, a laser is not able to slide onto the rail system.  The ADP-HKCP-140 turns the rail system on the HK USP Compact into a Weaver/Pictinny type rail system which does allow a laser to be mounted.

Q:  How does the adapter stay in place?

A:  The ADP-HKCP-140 fits snug into the grooves of the rail system of the HK USP Compact.  A LaserLyte laser (listed above) is needed to clamp onto the rail and hold the mount and lasers in place.  The lasers have great clamping power and hold everything extremely tight.

Q: How far will the APD-HKCP-140 and laser hang down on my gun?

A:  If mounting a FSL-0650-140 onto the adapter, the laser will hang down approximately 1” from the rail grooves of the gun.  If mounting a LRS-0650-SSW onto the adapter the laser will hang down approximately 1 ½” from the rail grooves of the gun.
